Istanbul Day 4: Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace

August 15, 2012

The fourth day in Istanbul was a sightseeing day for us. Since it was Monday we couldn't visit Hagia Sofia, but we went to the Blue Mosque, the Cisterns and Topkapi Palace, which all were really beautiful. The insides of the Blue Mosque and the Topkapi Palace look almost like new, because they had a specific form of making the tiles, which looks breathtaking.
Sadly somewhere in the middle of Topkapi Palace my battery died, but my mom took some more pictures, which I have to get from her, but she is very protective of her camera, so we'll see:)

I wore my leopard pants, because they were long, since we were visiting a mosque, but breathy, which was good, since it had about 38°C... not the perfect conditions for sightseeing, but what are you going to do... I paired it with a light black top and a big necklace and kept my hair in a braid.
What do you think about my look?:)

What I wore:
Zara Pants
Topshop T-Shirt
Sam Edelman Flats
Givenchy Bag
Topshop Necklace
Ray Ban Sunglasses
Yves Saint Laurent Ring
Alexander McQueen, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Sfera and Topshop Bangles

  8. I love it although I think that a white version of the same top would've done the look more justice. Blum pretty sure it was very hot in that black top.

    1. Yes you are right, but all my white tops are kind of see-through or burnout-like, so I didn't think they were appropriate for a mosque:)
