Finally managed to update the blog! By now I have actually been home for quite some time and am currently in Moscow.
I have to say during my road-trip this summer there was just so much happening and I wanted to fully immerse myself in the experience and not worry about taking outfit pictures and uploading them every day.
Also when I actually came back from the US I had some troubles with my laptop and I still haven't managed to upload all the pictures we took.
Here is an outfit I wore in Chicago to go to dinner and a jazz club, it was actually quite cold, but I still decided to go for a skirt, because to me summer is a feeling and not something dictated by the weather, also we spent most of the evening inside. A casual look from a few days ago. When the weather is this hot, I really go for comfort over dressing up. This Zara skort has proven to be one of the best purchases I've made this season. It is so versatile and comfortable, I just love pairing it with different things from my closet.
On another note, in less than a week I will start my American Roadtrip and I couldn't be more excited. Two friends and I will tour the country for a month, visiting different cities like Chicago or Miami. My first stop will be New York, I've only been once and am so excited to go back and explore the city a little more. I would really appreciate it, if you would give me a few tips on what places to check out! Have a lovely weekend:) d

In the summer, if it gets really hot, my go to pieces are definitely dresses. I wear them almost everyday, just because they are so easy and comfortable, perfect for heat waves. So my usual style changes a little bit from season to season, aside from trends, I tend to prefer girly and feminine pieces in the summer, whereas in the colder months I love a strong, architectural and more elegant design. Does your style change from season to season?

It's been some time that I wore a whole Zara look, I am always trying to steer clear of dressing head to toe in one label, but I picked up the dress and jacket in the sale and they just work so well together. I added some gold sandals and gold jewelry, a few dainty necklaces and rings, to make the outfit a little more put together, but still keep a kind of bohemian feel with the flower crown.
I wore this outfit to a friend's garden party. He throws one every year after the exams and it is always so much fun. I also think that with a few small changes (red lipstick or maybe some red sandals) this would be a great outfit for the 4th of July.

I've worn these heels countless times in real life, but for some reason they have never made it onto the blog before. I like how the simple black dress makes the gold accessories stand out, perfect for showing you those awesome shoes for the first time;)
I also love how the clutch works so well with this look, because like the heels, it is gold with black hardware. It was actually quite the impulse purchase while I was in Dubai this winter, I sometimes can't be accounted for decisions made on holiday, but it proved to be a great buy and I've worn it so many times, for example here and here.

I love these days in spring, when you can smell the flowers blooming and the nights are getting warmer. I really enjoy mixing pieces from different seasons during this time of the year, like this look: the shorts are already a summer piece, but to keep warm when the weather changes, I threw on this chunky knit.
I always go through phases with my style, like the whole black and white thing a few weeks ago and now all white, or white with neutral colors seems to be my go-to choice. I just love the freshness and purity of white, don't you?
As I was spring cleaning my closet, to be honest a still ongoing process, I discovered that I actually didn't own any real blue jeans. A lot of jeggings and black jeans, but not a pair of classic jeans. So when I found this pair on Shopbop I was over the moon, the wash is perfect and I love how the rips make it a little edgy.
Another reason why I love these pictures, aside from my new jeans, is that I didn't need to wear a coat over my leather jacket for the first time this year. I am so ready for spring!

Good morning! These are the last pictures from Dubai and for me the best comes last. I am so in love with this dress and have a thousand different ideas how to wear it, so I can't wait for summer to try them all.

Hier habe ich es mit einem Jeansshirt kombiniert um es etwas lässiger wirken zu lassen, aber auch mit roten Schuhen und Lippen, damit der Sexappeal des Kleides nicht ganz verloren geht. Was sagt ihr dazu?
