What I wore: Zara Skort, Topshop Denim Shirt, Isabel Marant Sandals, Alexander Wang Bag, Margiela Rings, Alexander McQueen Bracelet, Ray-Ban Sunglasses, Gorjana Necklace, joseph, BF , mrp, sb
A casual look from a few days ago. When the weather is this hot, I really go for comfort over dressing up. This Zara skort has proven to be one of the best purchases I've made this season. It is so versatile and comfortable, I just love pairing it with different things from my closet.
On another note, in less than a week I will start my American Roadtrip and I couldn't be more excited. Two friends and I will tour the country for a month, visiting different cities like Chicago or Miami. My first stop will be New York, I've only been once and am so excited to go back and explore the city a little more. I would really appreciate it, if you would give me a few tips on what places to check out! Have a lovely weekend:) d

Happy Monday babes! I hope you have great plans for this new week. I am still finishing up some work for uni, but hopefully I'll be done soon!
In the summer, if it gets really hot, my go to pieces are definitely dresses. I wear them almost everyday, just because they are so easy and comfortable, perfect for heat waves. So my usual style changes a little bit from season to season, aside from trends, I tend to prefer girly and feminine pieces in the summer, whereas in the colder months I love a strong, architectural and more elegant design. Does your style change from season to season?
With that said, I live in this dress in the summer months. The color is just so fun and the wider cut of the skirt makes it really comfortable and it is such a versatile piece. Check out the last time I wore it on the blog here.
What I wore: Zara Dress, Denim Jacket and Sandals (all on sale now!), Asos Flower Garland, Miu Miu Bag, Margiela Rings,
It's been some time that I wore a whole Zara look, I am always trying to steer clear of dressing head to toe in one label, but I picked up the dress and jacket in the sale and they just work so well together. I added some gold sandals and gold jewelry, a few dainty necklaces and rings, to make the outfit a little more put together, but still keep a kind of bohemian feel with the flower crown.
I wore this outfit to a friend's garden party. He throws one every year after the exams and it is always so much fun. I also think that with a few small changes (red lipstick or maybe some red sandals) this would be a great outfit for the 4th of July.
Do you have a go-to look for a garden party or barbecue? Do you Americans already have your outfits for celebrating the 4th figured out?
What I wore: River Island Skirt, Topshop T-Shirt, Bespoke Blazer (similar here), Isabel Marant Sandals (brown version here),
Miu Miu Bag, YSL and Margiela Rings (cheaper version here), Kenneth Jay Lane Bracelet, Karen Walker Sunglasses
I actually wanted to post this look yesterday, but I got my hands on the new Dan Brown novel and spend all day reading.
I just love it when you can dive into a book and the everything else is secondary. I especially enjoy Dan Brown's books,
because I study Art History and know most of the paintings, buildings, etc he writes about.
Now on to the outfit. My dad had this blazer made for me when he was abroad and at first I was a little hesitant about
the bright red, but now I love it. Paired with an all white ensemble it looks fresh and lends a great pop of color to an otherwise monochrome look.

If you know me or have read my blog for some time, you know that I love leopard print.
I used to dislike it for most of my life, because my mom would always wear it, acting as if it was a neutral. But now I completely understand her and in the end we sometimes can't help it but turn out exactly like our mothers, which we dread so much. In this case, I am okay with it, though;)
Also I can't stress it enough, GFC and Google Reader will no longer exist from July on, so make sure to follow me on Bloglovin to keep getting updates about my blog!
Here is how you can import all the blogs from your GFC/Google Reader to Bloglovin: First Go to this page, click on ‘Google Reader’, then on "Import from Google Reader", just grant Authentication and tadaa!:)
